My husband and I purchased our first set of points in 1999 with an every-other-year receipt of points just to make sure that we would like owning a timeshare. Well, after our first vacation, we found that we could hardly wait to receive more points. We are now 'Silver' members as of October 2004 and find that we use our points about as fast as we get them.

We tend to stay within the Bluegreen system because we especially like the flexibility of using only a few days at a time. We can take several vacations in a year and we can invite family and friends to enjoy our timeshare experience. We also like the condo experience and have become 'spoiled'. We find it hard to stay in a regular motel; the Bluegreen facilities have always been clean and roomy.

Although we've not stayed in all of the facilities that Bluegreen manages, we hope to get to all of them at least once over the next few years. It is so nice that they manage so many and are always adding more. Hopefully, our son and his family will enjoy the same experiences when he 'inherits' our timeshare. That is another advantage of owning a Bluegreen timeshare. It may be passed on to future generations. We truly love Bluegreen!

Personally, vacations are all about options, versatility and flexibility: whether you wish to use your points or use the option of Bonus Time to stay at any number of resort locations at a substantially reduced room rate. Whether you enjoy skiing or warm beaches, Bluegreen offers everything from the Rockies to Hawaii.

A year ago I enjoyed a spectacular setting of the beaches of Kauai, HI. It was very easy working with the staff at Bluegreen reservations to exchange time from Florida to Hawaii. Just a simple phone call, some flexibility for available dates, and before you know it you're on a plane.

Another option is if you're out of town on business and you would rather not use your resort points to stay at a property available at the location you are traveling to, you can use a feature called Bonus Time, saving your points for a modest price on a spacious condo. Sure makes coming home after a busy day, particularly on the road, considerably more comfortable.

I would highly recommend Bluegreen and its considerable amount of vacation options and flexibility for time availability and places to stay as second to none.

We have been Bluegreen Owners for about five years now and have upgraded two times. Being able to vacation when you want and where you want is a plus. The payments we make into our property are like a prepayment for our upcoming vacations. The places we have stayed have always been beautiful and their superiority is incomparable to any hotel we could ever stay at.

One of our favorite places is Lodge Alley Inn in Charleston SC. It is a very romantic city with wonderful restaurants and nightlife. The marketplace is a fun smorgasbord of shops during the day and the park on the water is a short walk through some of the most beautifully designed homes of the civil war. The area is rich in the history of our country's early days. Myrtle Beach is another favorite destination, lots of shopping, golfing and water. The nightlife there is also great. This is where we often go with the whole family.

Calling to make reservations is a breeze, and the people who represent Bluegreen are very customer-service oriented and willing to assist you in creating the perfect vacation. On our last vacation, we went to Myrtle Beach for four days, Charleston for two days and then to Pigeon Forge, TN for three days. It was one of the most enjoyable vacations we ever had with something fun and different to do in each location. Whether we want to go for two days or 20, Bluegreen is always there to ensure a great vacation for us.
